U-Turn...even though he was pretty funny, he really screwed up the plot. Glad he's gone. Mary Kate pretty much sucks IMO. Trying to put too much character development into 3 minutes of camera time... There's potential... we'll see. Happy with the show though [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] UTURN IS DEAD HOORAY

I think people are totally missing the point with Mary-Kate Olsen. She's not supposed to be an enthralling character, she's just supposed to be hot. Her original appeal was that she was the ultimate "good girl" only appearing in family comedies and coming off as unattainable when getting a lot of media attention shortly before her 18th birthday.
So, in order to recapture that, they're casting her as the good Christian who's saving herself for marriage, but still doing everything they can to make that character as sexy as possible. That's about all there is to it. Nancy, her kids, and maybe the black guy with the grow house whose name escapes me right now are the only serious characters in the whole show where character development even matters. Most of the other characters are there for comedy and Mary Kate's there for sex appeal.

The irony was that while watching the show I was telling my friend that that hot chick really looks like an olsen twin, but I wasn't sure about it until reading this thread.
Also, I agree with everything Iggymcfly said. I think we have a good episode next week now that we don't have to deal with the unreal situations that conrad brought about.

Show got insanely unbelievable at the 2nd season finale and this season was just crazier with the debt. Highlight so far is Doug getting back on the council a few episodes ago after clipping his toenails and slurping Arby's in the town meeting. I have a really strong feeling that Peter isn't dead though.

last nights episode was very bizarre imo.
never saw her sleeping with that guy, always thought he was a bit of a douche. also, the whole thing with marvin/mexicans was weird. seemed very obvious that something bad was going to go down, yet nancy completely ignored conrad who had clearly been trying to help her. and the mexicans said no more weed selling.. thoughts?
