If you're checking the turn here with any regularity, you have a semi huge leak.

This is pure falsehood. You probably think you are playing it perfectly all those times that you bet $20 here and villain folds.

Please explain it to me then, Bilbo, because I have no idea how checking this turn could be better than betting it.

I see where you're coming from, but don't you think that any T calls here anyway? Especially any T with a heart. It's 3 handed, and the board really isn't all that scary to something like AT/KT.

Well pf I figured that he has a small/mid pp or his range is weighted heavily towards that. If he c/res me on the turn Im toast prolly by a AQs/AJs type hand. I didnt think a FD was a huge part of his range I actually checked the turn praying for a non heart. The board paired with a river 3 and he lead for $20, I pushed and he folded.

I don't think there are many hands that villain is going to just call a turn bet with. Unless he has a smaller set or JT, he's probably either folding or c/r you here.

You have a monster draw with a ton of outs and betting and getting shoved on really sucks. I'd check and hope to fill up /call a bet on the river otherwise.
