Before I read through this thread because this was one of the sweetest episodes yet, I just have a few observations.

1. I loved how Doyle got grumpy at the end because Jaime and Degenyamine wouldnt shut up about random crappy hands.

2. How many times will Antonio say he loves poker? Him and his bff, unabomber, love watching others play and gamble.

3. Don't you guys feel sorry for Jaime. Seriously. Its like he desperately wants friends, wants to be accpeted, etc. It is like watching an awkward reality moment on the real world. And every time he is at the end of a hand he has a running dialogue to try to explain to everyone what he was thinking and justify whatever move he made. I dont care how much money he has right now, I would never trade places with that social misanthrope.

4. I also think the previews for next week might be misleading. It portrayed Jaime and Sammy getting it in, but remember Sammy does alot of hollywooding and seemed like he was just counting his cash, not calling.

5. Sammy called PA a regular customer.

6. I wish Helmuth or Matasaw would run it thrice and get sucked out on twice. It would be ignition.

Wouldn't be a problem with Phil. He'd insure each run separately.

And Gold is also a very high winning online cash game player.

Site and sn?

FTP 'Peachabel' but it's not true

[/ QUOTE ]

'Pachabel', and yes it is. Phil Ivey confirmed it during the last PAD he was on.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think he meant that gold is not a winning HSNL player online, not that he isnt Pachabel on FTP

[/ QUOTE ]

Pretty sure he's wrong about that too. I can't get HSDB to work for me right now, but just 4 months ago he was up at around 500k, and i'm pretty sure those games haven't run much since.

[/ QUOTE ]

i have no clue how he's done. you're saying he was winning at like nosebleed NL? was it HU or 6max if you remember?

I think he made like 150k at 200/400 NL 6 max, and the rest at the big HORSE games, (possibly a little at PLO)?

It would've been interesting if Jamie just called on the turn, then the river would've paired the board and PA would've had a tough spot. I'd like to see how PA would've played that.

ok ty, i knew he had won a good amt at HORSE but was skeptical of there actually being a decent sample of him winning at nosebleed (or mid-stakes really) NL.

Well it is a small sample, and he probably wouldn't be over a large sample, but the fact remains that right now he IS a winner in online high stakes.

I got to see the episode before I went to work this morning (got to love having a DVR) and all I could say after the hand between Patrick and Jamie was WOW!

PA's flop call is kinda bad and weak, as is his PF call. Def not a clear call like everyone is thinking. Jamie Gold can actually have a bluff there, otherwise PA's PF call is horredendous.
