Actually I think calling with the intention of shoving on a blank river is pretty sick.

Thoughts?

That is a pretty sick line but all kinds of bad cards can fall on the river. Best line imo is to put it in on the turn he obv likes his hand on the turn so put the money in.

Why is a c/c tank line the best? Guy will felt a lot worse than your flush imo.. put the money in on the turn when likely you have the best of it. If another diamond falls you have to fold to a river bet.

I say again, raise turn, get it in, too many scare cards can come to lose you action or give you a worse hand, it's Button v Blind, you have a flush, please get your stack in. kthx

Actually I think raising is pretty bad here and overreps our hand, I call almost always.

I really don't see how we're over-repping our hand by raising with a flush in a bvb confrontation.

Personally, I think anything but raising is really bad with an 8 high flush. 10 cards pair the board, potentially giving your opponent the best hand, 7 more cards bring four to a flush and kill your action. He's repping a strong hand, your bvb, get it in.
