Ten things i hate about U............B

1. Their the only that constantly decreases prize pool guarantees: Seriously how do you manage this after party and paradise withdraw from the U.S. market and there should be MORE volume on your sight? The 120 35k recently became 30k, the 30 rebuys that was 20k became 15k, the 100r which was 25k became 20k, I think there’s more but I won’t bother.

2. The lobby lags my computer: No other site manages to do this, yet when UB fires up the whole computer lags for a moment occasionally causing me to miss hands on a table. Awesome!

3. The player base: My god if those guys got any livelier a funeral would break out.

4. Starting with 8 bazillion BB’s in a 100 buck tourney: I might be alone on this, but I’m not always up for playing a tournament that has a relatively small buy in and yet takes 8 years because of the crazy deep structure. I’m not saying I want the party days back when the CL had 20 BB’s, but this gets ridiculous sometimes.

5. Their sponsored players: Not all of them are bad but man, if ever there were a greater collection of known douchebags in the poker world I don’t want to even think about it.

6. Their Lobby: Written in letters that requires a highly powerful microscope to read even having 20/20 vision and with very little organizational options to try and make it decipherable.

7. No avatars: What is this, 2003? Get with the times man. Though I’ll give them a little credit, this does prevent having to look at peoples ugly [censored] babies a la pokerstars.

yah the lobby lag causes me to have to use my laptop when playing there and also having my reg stars tables up. It's soo much harder to multitable on multi computers.

8. Only two lobbies at a time. How the [censored] am i supposed to keep track of how am i doing with a whole of 2 lobbies?

I actually like their tourney structure : Real deep early on so you can pwn noobs who can't play deep stacks, and then high antes late so you can pwn the weak tight nits.

Bottom line : Lots of pwning.

Agreed. And the pace picks up quickly once the antes kick in, so the tournaments probably don't run much longer than other sites.
