I have never understood why he isn't referred to "LDT." 1. "LT" is already taken. You shouldn't have to share a nickname with someone else. Of course, in the early days of baseball, most Jewish players were given the nickname "Moe," but those days are long gone. For example, should there ever be another player given the monicker "The Nigerian Nightmare?" No. One player to each nickname. 2. "LDT" fits better with his name and sounds better, anyway. The ESPN poll is stupid, anyway and is just a time filler waiting for football to get started.
