i have little doubt that he doped, but i do not think that takes away from what he accomplished.

Re: Lance Armstrong and Doping
Even he never had cancer, nearly died, got nuked with chemo..I might view him in a bad light given it seems everyone does it in cycling...but I give him a pass since the dude's body got nuked.

He was most likely doing it before he had cancer, too.

Re: Lance Armstrong and Doping
There was an excerpt in ESPN Mag from a book about Lance and doping (the title eludes me currently). Part of it details a scene where he's in a hospital bed during his treatment (I think it's in the early stages when he's quite sick). Also in the room is one of his teammates and a doctor. The doctor asks about that "stuff" and Lance admits to doping and using anabolic steroids.
Of course, I have no idea the credibility of this book, but a lot of the sources are former teammates and such. |

[/ QUOTE ] how does him not winning a tour mean he didnt dope before? there are so many other factors like the team he was on, his mental attitude, age, the weight he lost, any one of a million things. |
