Progress report on Iraq benchmarks


It takes more nerve than I have to rail against the failure of the Iraqi government for not meeting it's benchmarks by Democratic party leaders in Congress when their record is so abysmal in meeting the benchmarks they set for themselves. I guess having zilcho conscience and accountability is the hallmark of US politicians these days.

The Democrats in the house passed everything they said they would. I don't remember them claiming that they would have Veto Proof majorities or would somehow force Bush to sign them.
