Default terribly misplayed everywhere

Villian is unknown.

All streets are debatable, and pretty terrible IMO.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold</font>, MP calls,1 fold</font>, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](3 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks, MP checks.

Turn: (1.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks, MP checks.

River: (1.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](3 players)</font>
Hero bets</font>, BB folds, MP raises</font>, Hero 3-bets</font>, MP caps</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB

p.s. what do I have to do to the converter so I don't have to edit the output?

Cheers/

I'd fold PF. It's just not worth playing such a crappy ace out of position. Raising looks appealing at first, but if both people call, you're playing a raised pot with an awful hand, and you'll be first to act. Throw it away.

This is a very raggy flop. You have a hand now and it's probably the best one, bet the flop. If raised, you can peel for two pair / trips outs.

I don't know what you're doing on the turn. Now you have a powerful hand. Bet it.

The river is just god awful. Call his raise. Since you've done no betting at all throughout the hand, you have no idea what his possible range here is. Looks like he made two pair or a straight. There's probably some weird wacko random case where 3-betting and folding to a cap is the correct play, but that must be extremely rare, and it's not here. If you can't call the cap then don't 3-bet it.

When you end up with a powerful hand, don't give so many free cards.

I bet the flop.
I bet the turn.

As you played it, I'd just call the raise.
1)Its a tiny pot.
2)If I 3 bet I would end up calling a cap and losing.

For the record: I know this hand is bad. When I saw it after my session in PT, I threw up in my mouth..a lot.

The turn I thought someone would bet the ace a vast majority of the time. Obviously I was wrong.

Although I know how bad the hand was, most of my questions are on the river fold. Assuming I did three bet, how often do you think i'm good to call the river cap? Obviously I should have because of how I played the hand, but what if I would have led the turn, then been raised on the river and I (incorrectly) three bet, does anybody fold the river cap there?

I think a large leak in my game (this hand is not my game) is being weak/tight on the river. Either paying off to much or not getting value out of it.

cheers,

Cancuk
