Hits boat on turn ... how do I play river??
Im multitabling so I have no notes on villain but my HUD stats say he is 50/15/1.5 over only 43 hands at the time of the second hand in this post. His stats were similiar at the time of the first hand which was after 23 hands.
Absolute Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $73 CO: $357.80 Button: $109.90 Hero: $413 BB: $318.90 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero raises to $12, BB folds, CO raises to $56, Button folds, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: $44 returned to CO. Results: Final pot: $28 How do you guys play this PF???? I was OOP and I guess this may have been any random PP as well as a big PP or AJ+. Its hard to put villain on a hand range here as he is totally unknown except for the fact that he is not a regular TAG. I folded cos I thought it wasnt exactly a great idea to be playing a big pot OOP against an unknown. Absolute Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $68.05 CO: $351.83 Hero: $451.15 SB: $217.02 BB: $137.80 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG calls, CO calls, Hero raises to $12, 3 folds, CO calls. It was a mistake not to bet. I will not bet a small proportion of the time against a reg to indicate strenght here and to vary my play but as this guy isnt a reg I dont need to vary my play against him. My question is do I reraise on the river or am I just calling???? |

Hand 1 is fine.
Hand 2, bet 24ish on turn. As played, shove. He's raising any queen on the river and we beat a lot of them since he's playing half his hands. He also can play 33 this way. Why the hell would you ever just call? |

Re: Hits boat on turn ... how do I play river??
I dunno ... I guess because people thought a reraise may only be called by a boat or a big Q as I had reraised preflop. BUT I guess I know a reraise is +EV so maybe theres no need for this post. Also I know this has no bearing on the decision but I did lose the hand.
