Default bluffing riv vs bax

No clue what bax has really, but the minbettor is a big fish so it seems like he has a hand that doesn't mind seeing a turn. I have been active, he can reasonably put me on a bluff or weak hand here.

Is it standard for you not to put in a bet on the turn? Once you don't bet the turn, I'd think you either have 82, 88 or air cause you don't seem concerned about charging for a draw.

Can bax ever not have 88/22 here? I mean if he has 99 or something he's definitely not folding now so this looks pretty bad. I don't understand why you don't follow through on the turn if you're going to do fire another shell. Also I like a big raise preflop given read on original limper.

I guess I should add some content. You raised flop huge, he cold called again, and hearts missed. If he folds you probobly had the best hand. Bax is generally very call happy, and this couldn't be a worse board to bluff IMO.

you've gotta remember Bax knows that if you bet the river on such a dangerous board your gonna be bluffing with the check on the turn. since if you had any of the range your trying to represent you would check call him, or put out blocking bet.

also playing pots like this out of position is something i really don't against an opponent like Bax.

Would you play this the same way with a 2? I would assume a 2 to make a much smaller bet on the river. I think Bax calls this with A8 and better.

i think if you want to c/r the flop making it like 2000-2400 is better and then follow through on turn and river; i dont mind just calling the flop though, pretty tempting price to just draw for our outs.
