While I was in college an apt ran a couple raked games along with a blackjack table - free food and booze though so it wasnt the worst underground place

Re: Anybody ever play at underground clubs offering table games?
Yes. 19 years ago at a place called the Vampire Bar I played roulette for the first time. Interestingly enough the owner's name was Lefty. He opened every night at 3am, I thought it was an old school mob after hours bar - but I could have been too young and naive to know better.
I also met a cab driver here in Vegas who runs his own BJ tables in his house. He was a pro dealer, who was stabbed in the hand by an irate customer - so he was forced to quit. PS: don't bump your own threads 5 hours later, thats considered to be rude to the other readers of the forum. |
