I have asked Bikini personally, and he has informed me that learning how to properly post pics on 2p2 will NOT be part of the mentor deal.

Hey Bikini,

I'm a 15+ ptbb winner at NL100 and I put a lot of work into my game. You and I are always talking on IRC and I'm not socially awkward. I really want to take my game to the next level and I have a really flexible schedule.

Really cool that you're doing this, don't mind the haters.

I dunno who jeffmet3 is, but I have zero respect for Welchers.

I didn't back out, I posted in the thread BEFORE I played - and yeah i still shipped 50$ to 2 players for making good jokes to redeem myself of not doing anything wrong ;x

No... you set a date of Jan 1st and renigged.

I may be alone here, but as a full time poker player I take my word and my reputation here seriously (arguably too seriously) so weak-sauce stuff like your $500 bounty really rubs me the wrong way. It says something about your integrity.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he posted in the thread and said the deal was off before anyone caught him. That's like self-excluding from FTP and waking up the next morning tilt-free and realizing you're an idiot for banning yourself for the next week. While you are [censored] on FTP, why should we in BBV be nits about making him stick to it? Because some busto-ass railtarding idiots want to cash in?

Well then you're a moron for starting a thread offering a bounty for playing high. Because then when you want to play high, you just post "I'm not going to honor the bounty because I changed my mind LOL." What's the point of a silly attention-whoring thread if you are never going to pay it? It's a douchy thing to do.

Making threads like that (even those that intend on honoring payments) is entirely selfish, because they're only doing it to give themselves motivation for not tilting off money stupidly at higher stakes. Tilting off money is not something people do based on rational thought, so (for ego reasons too) they're not going to go post "hey, sorry guys, I feel like tilting so bounty's off." Thus, faced with the two options of admitting to BBV that they fail at self-control or paying out money to busto railtards, they abstain from tilting at higher stakes.

Bikini Wax went robusto and it's now stupid for him to waste his time at mid-stakes games just because of some post he made in BBV when he didn't anticipate having the bankroll to play higher. As long as he clearly spelled out that the agreement was off before anyone caught him, he has every right to retract a completely generous and charitable offer he made. Jesus christ, the 20 post idiots following him around to demand he pay up as if they're somehow entitled to be paid for their amazing skill of tracking him down on FTP after he already posted that he was done w/ the bounty are [censored] incredible.
