Default 25NL - 87s hit trips on river, call a push?

Villain is 39/17.5/2.3 over 103

BTN: $39.65
SB: $27.55
BB: $8.30
UTG: $90.15

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, SB calls $0.75, BB folds

Flop: ($1.95) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.40, SB calls $1.40

Turn: ($4.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($4.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $2.25, Hero ????

Well I think a raise is a must here. Not only is he doing this with a lot of Ts but I have induced a bluff by checking the turn. My question is, if I raise, should I call a push or a very large bet?

I don't think a raise is a must here at all.

I think villain's cards are polarized into busted draws with no showdown value and the other 7. If we raise here what do we expect to get called by that we beat? Best case scenario is that he calls a small raise with a bare 10 but even that's unlikely.

If we just call we take the pot from the hands we beat and don't allow higher sevens put us to a decision for all our chips.

I probably min-raise for value and fold to anything but another min-raise.

He'll probably call your min-raise with a T, but won't make a big raise with worse than another 7.

If he pushes all in, your almost certainly beat and its an easy fold IMO.

Bet the turn. You want to charge the possible flush/str8 draw, and the ten is unlikely to have helped him. Any overcard is a potential scarecard, and you have a tough choice if villain bets the river for a decent size.
