Default 200NL - 3bet pot confused as hell

villian in this hand has been a huge nit 14/7 over ~ 400 hands, so the cold call took me by surprise. plan was to push the rest in on the river, but given the king showed up should it just be check fold?

PF i raise more, like 28/30 since ur oop.

Please bet this flop, you made this hand so much tougher than it needed to be.

Lead flop $38-44

What is up with your turn bet? $32 into $56???????

that was a pure and simple balls up, lol

Didnt lead the flop because i couldnt see a lot that i was beating with a guy with those stats who cold called the 3 bet. figured him for AKs QQ+, with only KK giving me action. Turn bought the other Q making QQ unlikely, so i bet.

running bad makes me think like this

It doesn't matter if you "get action"

Please bet this flop...

The problem is villain maybe just [censored] with you here because of your river check and small turn bet but I think the river is a fold.

Actually I probably call river given that villain could have A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here and you're getting such great river odds.

You inflicted this confusion on yourself by not betting the flop. I don't understand why you would 3-bet pf and then check the flop.

This is just bad thinking. Take a break, go outside and get some air. Remember the odds of flopping a set? 8-1 right? So since we are favored going in lets continue the aggression on the flop.

Yes. Not raising a bit more preflop is a smallish mistake but a mistake nevertheless. Not betting this flop though is absolutely horrible.

Once you check the flop I'd check turn too to keep the pot smaller and pick off bluffs. You put yourself in a bad spot.
