I thought the green line should be higher than the other blue line usually for winning player.. am I wrong here?

[/ QUOTE ]
You are wrong. The green line should be above the x-axis for a winning player.

FGators:

Regardless of how badly you run, this graph proves you are a terrible poker player. Your green line doesn't have to be at your blue, but to be that far below means you lose a ton in pots that don't go to showdown.

[/ QUOTE ]

Look for graphs posted by KOTKIS for some alternate possibilities. KOTKIS is basically the anti-fgators. He gets his money in worse a lot of the time, but still wins a ton thru non-showdown pots

To go into slightly more detail - if your playing against opponants who will rarely fold (ie small stakes) your green graph will often be lower than your blue line because you will be forced to showdown hands a lot. In general the green line should track the blue line pretty closely though. Ideally your green line will be above the blue, but eutopia is a rare place to visit.

If your winning, it doesnt really matter HOW your winning (in a general sense anyway) - the key thing is that you are beating the rake and anyway you do that means youre doing better than most - including FGators.

Ummmmmm, he's running TERRIBLE.

60 buyins more down than he should

Still break-even but hey.

[/ QUOTE ]
No he's not.
He's running 0.2 BB/100 under expected only, it's really close actually.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well yeah, but 1.4 million hands @0.2 BB = 60 buyins

Isnt that running bad?

In his mind, maybe, but it's still only .2BB/100 below expectation, which is perfectly normal.

To put the point in context, running .2bb/100 below expectation isnt that important when your winrate is 5.

Its only when you play breakeven poker that .2bb/100 is important.
