Default QQ make 2nd pair oop in reraised pot.......6max

I didnt know alot about this guy other than that he was loose, he was playing about 50 % of his hands and didnt seem to raise much preflop. He was quite new at the table.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($125.36)
CO ($190.50)
Button ($400.43)
Hero ($205.80)
BB ($215.20)
UTG ($263.76)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $1.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $6</font>, MP calls $6, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises to $24</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP calls $19.

Flop: ($58) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $25</font>, MP calls $25.

Turn: ($108) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP bets $27.62</font>

Was the flop bet too small? Note MPs stacksize...After his turn bet he has only $47 left

Yes cbet was too small - against a normal stack I like a cbet of 40-45ish, but since he's short it's tough. I would check and see what he does. There's not much of a draw that he can be on. On the turn it's a judgment call... if he's passive and bets I might fold, if he's known to bluff I might c/c a non-A, and c/c or c/f on the river depending on whether he bet the turn. If he's a complete donk a half pot bet on the turn works too to tell you where you're at (and sometimes get value), though don't do this against anyone who isn't a donk.
