Default Fish donks 3-flush board

Mr.Fish 67/0/0.79

Notes:
Has twice donked into preflop raiser heads up with Top pair.
Once he bet turn against two players with air trying to pick up a checked flop pot.
Has called me down several times and lost almost always.
Please say that there is no value in continuing on this flop.

He'll do this with a flush, top pair and a flush draw as well. I encounter these guys all of the time. I would just give it up as well because I only have 1 overcard. This guy is going to give you plenty of opportunities to value bet. Just wait for a better spot.

I must peel too much. I have a hard time folding in this spot but I guess I should start doing it. I just hate folding the flop HU in position!

Assume he has a hand you are KILLING like T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He still has every [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] out. This spot sucks, but you can't win them all. My favorite type of TAG to play against is one that is always trying his hardest to win a pot. Because they spew and they lie to themselves.

Also a raise is a 1/3 play. That's assuming he folds the flop.

When he has a hand like 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and you raise he puts you on a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] draw. Then the flush comes and he puts you on a bluff.

When he has a hand like J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] he puts you on a pair. Then you occasionally win UI.

Think about what you can successfully value bet vs. this opponent in this spot.

this is a really important comment to a lot of folks IMO. I know that I have been guilty of this in the past, and it not only makes you spew, but it is one step down the path towards monkey tilt. Just start folding these hands and tell your inner SD monkey to go eat a banana.
