Good job BWD, nice story.

I have a vaguely similar story to you except that I started with $500 instead of $1. I'm not quite to $100K yet but if my good luck continues then maybe I'll make a similar post myself.

Also I have been guilty of making the kind of rude and childish chat comments that you have been accused of here after taking an endless series of bad beats. I should have greater control of myself because poker has been good to me and just not use the chat boxes at all.

Gl, dude.PM me, when you make a similar post, i will congratulate you
Yeah, i am guilty of berating ppl in the chat sometimes. but lately i've been trying to work on the subject, and as you said as well - poker has been good to me, so there is no need to get pissed off like this.

In any case, besides the chat issues, i was "accused" of sucking in poker, constantly shortstacking and lying about my winnings, but that should be on the conscience of the accuser.

I also think, that the fact we both take the game so closely to heart is good as well, cause otherwise we wouldn't be so passionate about it and devoted to it.

Is True the guy that went on a BBC programme playing poker to show the negative effects of online gambling?

IIRC True did a fine job of demonstrating how a winning player can make decent bank in short order while following sensible bankroll guidelines, but then Declan-Donk (the presenter) got some gambooooool in him and demonstrated that ~4 buyins is probably not adequate for $1000nl.

Was spun kinda negatively, which was a shame. Panorama let down our side this time, OTOH it would have been so awesome if True's luckbox was fully functional for the 1Knl shot - "There ya go Declan, you can make an avg. annual salary in a single weekend lol"

edit: Congrats, BWD!!!
