I flop quads and bet...

Anyone like this..? Was it silly? CO is a blind stealin mofo and has tried to steal last umpteen orbits. I type in "always" after his bet and button calls. I plan on stealing any pot by opening...but back to my bet?

I like to wait till turns. FH's never fold, so I will almost check/call and jam the river and hope he he caught a turn river or has PP.

Pretty awful. No one folds a boat. Let them catch something. Plus what can you have in the BB that you would be leading out with besides quads?

What could you have in the blind that you would flat call with (because either the cutoff or button will bet when it is checked to them), quads. Leading off is easily better because everyone normally takes the line, he isn't going to bet out with quads.

Rarely does anyone take the line he just came of betting on a flop that shouldn't have helped anyone he must have quads, they usually take the line he's hoping to steal the pot. Leading will usually have someone with AJ+ or a pocket pair coming over the top, which is where you want to be.

But, that's just my .02.

You bet out trips, you bet out quads if you flop holding a PP. You let people catch up with FHs :P.

Kind of what I thought... I thought 1 agro oppt and tag oppt someone will come over my weak bet. Who bets quads? An obvious steal!

Ok i am flat calling in the blinds with some low pairs for sure for set value...a ragged ace...suited connectors kq kj etc to this guy. I'm raising any real hands because he's been all over me.

I thought that was the beauty of it....no?
