Default 25NL--making donkey raises to trap a station

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($24.25)
MP ($5)
Button ($122.05)
SB ($27.10)
Hero ($25.40)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB completes, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, UTG folds, SB calls $1.25.

Flop: ($3.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $0.25</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, SB calls $2.25.

Turn: ($8.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $5</font>, SB calls $4.

River: ($18.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $4.25</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $16.4</font>, SB calls $12.15.

Final Pot: $51.05

Villain is 89% VPIP and I figure he's drawing to the straight. With AA I'd be making much more substantial raises, but I don't want him to fold really, I just want to build a pot. I hate these dumb-looking undersized raises though, thoughts?

Am I leaving too much on the table those times he misses?

Not much to say here. Flop is standard raise amount, I think. I save my pot size raises for vulnerable hands (like AA you mentioned). In this case ~2/3 looks nice.

Turn raise is probably a little bit light, but not by too much. It's nit picking really.

Well played.

I raise to 3 on the flop, 7 on the turn, and AI on river, but it really doesn't matter. If he's a station his money is getting in the middle.

even stations can fold if they have nothing... this villain happened to have 57, so i doubt he would've called much more than he did

Well played. Turn should probably have been to 6-8,but not a big mistake.

A station leads out 3 times and you can't stack him? He's saying I LIKE MY HAND.
