Default Official 2006 MLS Cup--Houston Dynamo vs NE Revolution

vs.

Game is on Sunday, on ABC. Starts at 3:30 ET. Yeah I know football is on as well, but flip back and forth during your commercial breaks people. I wanted to get some hype going for this [censored]. Check it out people!

A few players to watch for
NE
Clint Dempsey- Likely his last game in MLS. Should be good to see how he does
Taylor Twellman- Leading scorer for NE.

Houston
Dwayne De Rosario- Could also be his last game in MLS. Probably the best player in this game
Brian Ching-Playmaker, fun to watch.

Houston is a fun, fast paced team to watch. I will admit I haven't seen many NE games this year, but from what I have heard they are more of a defensive team. Either way, this game should be quite good to watch.

I am predicting Houston wins this 3-1.

It's amazing how little publicity this is getting here in New England. People around here really don't care about this team it seems. (Go Revs btw)

it's going to be so funny when twellman scores 2 goals and everyones like "OMG THE US TEAM NEEDED SCORING IN THE WORLD CUP WHERE WAS HE? LOL"

agreed about the lack of publicity. the patriots-colts game was the story round here for the last 10 days or so.

and the answer for 1000 alex is: because Bruce arena is a [censored]

this should be a really good game. This game has some of the best talent in the MLS. Watch out for Pat Noonan too for the Revs, and if him and Twellman can get it going, Houston will have a hard time and will have to attack even more back

Why on earth would they schedule this game at the same time as Sunday's NFL games. (especially since the first half hour conflicts with both he Patriots, and the Texaans). The people who run MLS must be retarded. I seriously would have watched this game if it were on saturday, or a weeknight, but there is no way I will watch it on Sunday. It is a shame, because I was just starting to get into the revs.

Also, since it is clear that MLS isn't concerned about going head to head with the NFL, they should move their season to match Europe's (maybe with a winter break). I wouldn't mind watching the MLS championship game on a Sunday in May.

MLS should adopt the Euro schedule, and play every weekend on saturday, late afternoon/nights. Also, jst, switch back and forth for [censored] sake. Its your home team man, and its not like its women soccer.
