Variance: vegabond asks for money, then food, then rejects my offer
el oh el
So i'm on campus right now and I just got back from the university village where there's an international food court. I leave the food court and there's this vegabond standing outside of it asking me for money to the bus. I had no money and told him this. He then asked me for food. I asked him what he wanted and he told me that he would like a donair and a pop. Quite the demand I was thinking. However, the donair place just closed so I told him that would not be an option. He then suggested a plate of chinese food (which costs $6). Since I'm winning the lottery tomorrow, I decided to be nice and meet him half way. I told him I'd buy him a burger from McDonalds. He then REJECTED my offer. WTF? Since when do beggars get any options? I told him it was the burger or nothing and he said it's ok since I couldn't "afford" the plate of chinese food. You know what, [censored] him, and [censored] you and [censored] that girl who promised me to send me her notes for $5 but has yet to do so. |
