Re: NL25 AA vs. river shove
You really need to bet the flop, especially against two opponents. As it is you have no idea where you stand as a)your hand is seriously underrepped, and b) villain could have a wide range of hands that you didn't narrow by betting flop.
As played I'd definitely fold river to this guy. |

Re: NL25 AA vs. river shove
I think you have to bet the flop.
He min-bet min-reraised the turn, then open shoves the river, what does he do this with? Did he slowplay a set on the flop? It's hard to see how the turn helped him unless he has 89. I'm curious what range should we put him on. If he wasn't so passive I would be inclined to call because his line looks so fishy and my hand is under-repped, but given his passivity sets seem like a lot of his range here. |

Re: NL25 AA vs. river shove
Bet the flop, and generally raise to 2 pre-flop.

Re: NL25 AA vs. river shove
The min-bet/min-raise line is usually very strong. You should probably just fold the Turn but I never would. Instafold the River. .73s don't push the River as bluffs unless you have reason to believe he's on tilt or you've seen him do it before.
Edit: Oh, and bet the flop obv. WTF? |

Re: NL25 AA vs. river shove
Bet the flop. If you're putting a tight player on a range that he will cold call with, a lot of his holdings are pocket pairs. You don't want these hands to "catch up".
If villan's AF is only .7 and he suddenly wakes up on the river and shoves, I don't think he's bluffing. I don't like calling in this situation because I think you're going to see a set quite often. This sucks but fold. |
