psh, wimp

I'll share my secrets for the sake of the thread:

When a solid, aggressive player open raises and you are in the blinds. Call with any two cards, and then check and minraise any flop.

Today I decided to put a bit of money into Stars after playing party for a good while. I couldn't get that much in there so I had to drop down to 200NL. From what I saw the games were terrible.

Lots of tables with a VPIP < 15, lots of tables full of nits just grinding against each other, why do they play that table without a single person over 15?

I knew there were nits and then I ran into players like futilewar, EurekaKid, bryanboyd, petrodactyl6, etc all who play less than 10% of hands, are they making any money, like who pays these guys off?

Anyway just wondering how long the games have been this bad?

well written RyanCMU...

let's discuss the playign styles of some of the better NL 100 players then - (and it's funny how we assciate) or at least a lot on here....better being those that play more LAG than the other 'regs'.

- bottomset:
- what makes him a feared opponent?
- what does he do that makes you sqirm or pound the table?
- what makes him difficult to play?
- do you avoid him OOP, why? do you avoid him IN position? why?
- what are some other questions we can ask?

Drballgame (who is he on 2+2? by the way?)
AChen
BigLivesOn

same questions, what makes them difficult, etc. feel free to add names and what makes them 'better' than your regular 'reg'

I've been beating 50NL at a good clip, and no one has mentioned my Stars screen name.

Ah petrodactly is pretty good player and his vp$ip is higher than 10. Also I agree that the tables are nitty but there are donks and plenty of them still mixed in @ the tables you just have to know how to look for them. The tables appear nittier becasue there are 6-7 nitty regs at every table now. The other 3 players you named are all very exploitable and easy to beat
