memo to self 10 months ago: play higher -> win more -> no need for job.

seriously, it's 10.10pm now, i've got my 3rd day of work tomorrow, i've got to go to bed soon so i can wake up at 7am to get a crowded train into work at 8.20am or so, then meet a bunch of people and somehow not show my complete depression at the thought that my life is now over.

gl and enjoy every moment of not having a job (if you dont have a job) - without a doubt the last 5 years of boozing and playing poker will be the best ill ever have.

[/ QUOTE ]

if you feel this way, you're out of your mind for having a job.

i probs will quit, got to give it a few months so i dont think 'what if...'. if i can stick it out for 3 years and qualify, then i can get a job at $100k/year, but i'd take 6 months off or so.

then if online poker is still good, i can go play that for 6 months+ but if it's not then i can go get job for $100k which will increase year on year.

whereas if online wasn't still good and i'd quit the job, i'd think really [censored] myself over.

also parents getting real pissed off is a big factor as well, doesn't help when your brother (4 years older) has done his 3 year accountancy qualification (as in wtf are you too lazy to stick at this job blah blah).

good luck guys, i probs and making a mistake.

are your parents running some sort of accountant breeding program John?

don't worry about the work thing - after the first ten years or so the despair subsides and is replaced by a comforting numbness.

October going well:

, but with few problems:

1) I don't play nearly enough.
2) The graph lies and says I've played 16 days this month when I've only played 8. It also slightly over-reports my earnings, but not by a ton.
3) I never go to Spanish class and am seriously thinking of just dropping it.

I speak Spanish fine. There is difference between what I know after living here for 10 months and being completely fluent which one day I'd like to be. Hence, the classes.

You can join the club in the second part. Also, I run good for very long periods if I run good. I must be the anti-FGators just on this huge 250,000 hand upswing at MSNL.

metetron, plot by date and use bar graph, that way you will have 8 bars for your progress / day.

The reason it says 16 is that is your date range.
