You can also includes at least AA and AdKd in his range. Anyway that's an awfull fold. Somebody is willing to play his stack while you hold a set don't fold unless u are playing against a real nit (9/2/1) and the board comes A72 rainbow and HE has raised utg with a raising range of AA/KK.

Don't 3 bet his checkraise if you are going to fold to a 4-bet.

Yes, thanks guys. This is the actual history - I just wanted to see if I played it correctly.

BB: $105.55
Hero (UTG+2): $125.73

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (10 Players)
2 folds, Hero raises to $3.00, 6 folds, BB calls $2.00

Flop: ($6.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5.00, BB raises to $10.00, Hero raises to $30.00, BB raises to $50.00, Hero raises all-in to $122.73, BB calls all-in for $52.55
Uncalled bet of $20.18 returned to Hero

Turn: ($211.60) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($211.60) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $211.60 ($3 Rake)

BB had 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Eights) and WON (+$103.05)
Hero had 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Fives) and LOST (-$105.55)

Equity of hero after shoving should be 38% so even with the wide range of SABR this isn't an instashove.

[/ QUOTE ]Math says otherwise. At 38% equity hero is winning on average $8.21 everytime he pushes given the amount of money in the pot.

I don't think he has A6dd/A5dd/65dd/T9dd because he's probably going to push those instead of minreraise them so that drops the equity a bit.

At 38% equity you'd have to be roughly $139 deep to fold this.

You are right Chargers, damn my mathematics was baddddd. I calculated potodds instead of potequity.
