What are some things to look at when on a downswing?
I have recently moved up to the 24's and while crushing them early on I find my self in the middle of a downswing. I don't think the play is that much tougher than it was at the 12s, but I do see some regulars now and again.
I think one problem I am having is playing too loose on the bubble. I think I need to wait in some spots that I am pushing in. Even though they are +EV, I may need to wait til it is high EV. I'm not sure really, it makes you wonder about things in the middle of a downswing. What are some things to look at in my hand histories or stats? I am just wanting to make sure I am not doing anything insanely stupid. Thanks. |

Buy sngpt or sngwiz and play around with that, reviewing your hands to see if you are making correct pushes/folds

[ QUOTE ] I'm not sure really, it makes you wonder about things in the middle of a downswing. [/ QUOTE ] this sounds like you're not overly confident in your game... you should be reviewing hh's during upswings JUST as much as downswings - both could just be variance... post a few of these hands where you think you should be waiting for higher +ev situations... |

The problems I am having seem to be pushing very small edges over and over. I think I need to get away from that and wait for a slightly smaller edge. I'll try to find an exact hand and post it. |
