Is Ali doing more play-by-play than usual this week? It seems like he's talking a lot, covering up the table talk. I can see what they're doing without him telling me.

I noticed this when the players were talking about the vegas backdrop on the windows. It seemed like they wanted to cover that up.

Alan Boston = the "Wha' Happened?" Guy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D421N6xlisg

Nothing more annoying than a clueless motormouth that doesn't follow the play and goes "Wha happened?" every time the action comes around.

Was I the only one who found it amusing that Antonio boasted about knowing that Gold had KK in his hand where he puts Boston out of our misery, but then misreads Gold's speech in his own hand and runs into QQ? You'd think all pros would be able to make something of Gold's speeches by this point, but he keeps goading people into making the plays he wants them to make.

Problem with Gold is that he's a total calling station

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, you're remarkably ignorant..Gold threw away middle/top pairs than anyone else at the table. And if you've even watched a little bit about his play, you should realise he throws away very strong hands all the time if faced with enough strength. I'd love to see guys like superbob on this show. I'd love to have a good laugh.

Also for anyone saying Gold horribly misplayed the trip q's hands again Wasicka: clearly Gold's hand was extremely under-repped. Or are you guys too much of a results based thinker to see this? Checked to river. At this point both player could have any two cards. Gold bet out doesn't have to mean that much, especially since him and Paul had been checking down plenty of hands and could be tired of that. 9 Q Q 6 8 iirc. Paul could have easily had 10/10, J/J, any 9 - or what Gold thought: that he was just trying to take the pot away with a value-bluff raise. Now, Gold could just call but he figured that his hand was so under-repped to the point that Paul could very well easily be overvaluing himself with even A/8, and after all, it was only a min raise. And finally, Gold's raise was almost a min raise as well. How on Earth can that be a horrible overvalue??? lol, you guys. Yay, let's have a pre-constructed view of Gold via EPSN commentary or something and forever be biased because you hate him for no reason!! lolol. Alright, turns out Gold's re-raise was wrong, but the raise was so small that it was only a little bit of a mistake in a quite peculiar hand. Paul was thinking about folding to just 5k more????? Perhaps he was just selling the idea for television (or the table) that he can lay down hands if he turned out to be up against a better hand - but was never going to throw it away. But if not, then THAT was the worst and most perplexing part of the hand. And I'm not biased. I find Paul to me a much better player than Gold from what I've seen televised overall.
