Yeah that was good. My lazy ass should have gone up there, it wasn't far away and from what I've heard and seen the crowds weren't that big (consider that the Phoenix Open has the largest attendance of any sporting event all year). Pretty exciting finish and I have gone from hating Weir for all these years to kinda liking the guy, even though his wife still looks like Michael Jackson.

Also, Grayhawk >>>> TPC Stadium. Grayhawk way, way overcharges relative to the quality of the course because of its marketing and tournament history, but it's still a much better, more challenging track than where they hold the Phoenix Open (which is coincidentally maybe three miles away).

Chalk up one for the stack-and-tilts.

I'm happy to see Weirsy get out of his winless drought.

A suprising stat on Weir. He ranks 12th all-time in career money won. Of course there are lots of players with better careers that won less money (Jack, Watson, Norman, etc), but still, 12th all time is pretty good.

It simply means he has piled up a number of wins and a higher than average percentage of top 10's etc, all of it being in the 90's and later when purses increased big. Not indicative of all time greatness, but it does show he has been one of the top performers for the last decade.
