Default JJ flops set in minraised 3bet pot

Had this hand recently and I think it was one of my most misplayed hands of the week, even though my read during the turn was that villan probably minraised me preflop with ATC and likely held not much how should I have played this.

I went for check-call flop as if I had been properly 3bet, I was thinking may be I should have check-raised some where given flop texture and his aggr stats even though I think he doesn't have much and then just bet standard to the river to get AI.

Villan is 53/15/3.7 ,4,3.5,4 aggr on each street
weaksauce bets flop and turn, like I led turn with a weaksauce 1/2 pot bet of my own

I'm running pretty nitty on this table @ 17/12/3.5 showdown some good hands in medium sized pots.

Comments on all streets plz and general lines on sets when 3bet and whether you play a minraised 3bet pot like this as a raised pot( I would usually lead or c/r this flop then bet bet).

Bet more on every street. You have 150 bbs and you check/call the flop? I think you gotta bet/3bet this flop all day.

Normally I c/r the flop in a 3-bet pot. Bet more on turn.

Preflop is fine. Flop is connected, so I want to get the money in now. I like leading for 1/2 pot, hoping to get raised. Checkraise is another option since you know villain will bet, but I think this line scares villain away too often. Too many draws out there to just check call.

Checkraising allows villain to get away from a lot of hands cheaply. Leading into him will usually get him to raise a wide range of hands, giving you more money.

checkraise just looks so scary.

thac, subzero

I agree check-raise looks scary - I normally check the flop with alot of hands when 3bet -I think that's why i check-called the flop on autopilot.

I think leading the flop, like you suggest and how I would often play a set on this flop vs a PFR is best line as villans likely cbet given flop pot size isn't worth a c/raise as it won't commit him.

Your coment about being 150bbs deep which I missed makes a check-call look even worse and lead/hope for a b3b flop better.

Thanks for the advice all.
