Default Pockets 8 vs LAG

UTG+1 54/8/1.2 only Stats, no Reads.

Must I betout on the Flop and by an Raise from the LAG must I 3-bet ?? Or was my Turn-Action ok ?? I dont think, that I played this Hand well.

With an 8% PFR and a postflop aggression factor of 1.2, this guy isn't a LAG. He's only raising his premium hands preflop. You didn't flop a set, so either check/fold the flop or go into call down mode unimproved. I lean towards folding without a better read on your opponent.

I have UTG+1 as having Ace/Jack, thus his preflop raise. He may be a bit concerned about the two spades on the flop but when you only called on the flop and then checked on the turn and didn't raise, he probably felt his jacks were strongest at this point and wants to take the pot down right now and not go to the river.
I can't see him raising preflop with pocket fives but that is a consideration, too.

Do you see the problem with this read? Don't you think there are, oh, at least a few other hands he might raise with?

like Marquoz said, he's probably got normal pfr standards. How many hands are these stats based on, though? He is loose with his calls, but probably normal with the pfr. I would probably c/r the flop and then consider dropping if he keeps coming.

i c/r the flop.

as played, once sb drops on the turn, just call. c/c the river and b/3-bet an 8.

You and Buzz both take this line. Interesting. I may need to ramp up my aggression with medium PP's when overcards flop and there was a PFR. I'd like to know more about the reasoning behind this approach.

Yes, UTG+1 has a whole multitude of hands he could raise preflop but given the cards displayed, I picked Ace/Jack. Not enough room to list everything he could preflop raise with.

The problem is: thinking of the range of hands he could've raised with preflop is what you have to do.
