Default Stars $60 45-man push

15 left, top 7 get paid. I haven't been out of line yet and the blinds seem fairly normal. How's this push?

If this post should be elsewhere, let me know.

Any reads on the SB? Does he have only 5 BB because he's tight or did he lose a big pot recently to get so short? He's so short that he might call wide, and you only have 6 high. I'd push if SB has been tight and is just blinding down.

If the SB had about 1000 more chips I would say push definitely.

SB didn't play a pot in the last orbit if I remember. So he may be on the tight side.

I would say thats a fairly loose push with the SB so low on chips. He could have easily called with any kind of Paint in his hand. How did the hand work out for you?

You have position, but making that move gives up this advantage. Min raise to steal, otherwise limp with position and make a flop play.

I dislike the push. (if you had a weak ace, I might like it better).

I'd much prefer doing this with a hand that has greater showdown value.

when you have 10 bb take the miniraise "steal" and throw it out the window. shove is fine. and fold is only other option

Been awhile now, but I'm pretty sure I sucked out against BB's JJ.

depends on bb, sb is usually gonna be really tight here in general. if you have a good image its fine, if bb is looseish id just fold.
