Default 5/T AQo, I want to fold but 2p2er didn\'t let me.

Villain was relatively unknown but loose PF and only a little aggressive post-flop, I estimated his aggression at 1.5-2. I don't remember what other reads I had at the moment.

I really wanted to fold this turn, if not this river. After he leads the turn after I cap I figure I'm most probably behind and chopping at best. I had a 10/20 2+2er sweating me and he called me a weak tight fish and made me call down. Thoughts?

Don't go so many bets if you are trying to find a fold with this hand heads up. Also tell that guy only to discuss with you after you play the hand by yourself.

Thanks miles. Would you have suggested calling the flop 3-bet and re-evaluating the turn?

I would call down from the flop 3-bet, yes. I don't think your equity warrants putting in any more bets than you need to to get to showdown.

Wow. I'd stop listening to him. I don't normally say stuff like this but anyone who thinks you win this hand more than 10% on the river is terrible at poker.

If we're folding at all, then shouldn't we be folding the turn? Calling turn and folding river seems terrible to me. Either fold turn, or call down.

And don't cap the flop.

You can't always just regurgitate stuff like this. There are many situations where calling the turn and folding the river is the correct play.
In this case, like many others, the fall of the river card turned a possibly +EV call down into a definitely -EV river call.

I'm not convinced the call down is +EV in the first place but I'm just making a point.

If you aint willing to fold, dont cap the flop.

I call down from his flop 3 bet.

this is 5/10 at stars so i'm unfamiliar with the game texture.

Often I would call down, either from the three bet or the cap. I would certainly consider folding the turn sometimes.
