Default CBB wednesday 11/28

VA TECH @penn st. + 119 2u
SETON HALL @princeton -8 -108 1u
CS fullerton @ ARIZONA -15.5 -105 1u
PORTLAND ST @ portland +105 3u
ILLINOIS @maryland +119 1u
illinois +2.5 1u
dayton @MAIMI-OH -6 2u pk
BAMA @texas am +660 (for [censored] and giggles - .2u)

My faovrite is obviously Portland St. PortSt is 3-3 including a 21pt road loss to UCLA and a 1 pt loss to col st. that this MWC fan knows to be pretty good. Other loss @ UC Davis by 8. Portland is not so good. 2-4 wins vs. Liberty(by11) and Idaho st (by 24 points). Lost to Oregon by a bunch and OSU by 10. Portland St. is clearly the better team, and I'd say by a 6-10pt margin. This game is at Portland... but I can't imagine that HFA applies. IF this game is well attended, THEN it will be well attended by both schools as they are in the same city. The wrong team has been favored by the bookmakers.

'Sup CSC!!

okay, you sold me on Portand St.

I like Miami OH -6 but this one does worry me a bit. Miami has looked good in all 4 of their games this year including a win vs. Xavier and 3 solid games in Anaheim. But that seems like a lot of points to be giving a team that generally plays low-scoring against a pretty big rival who also happens to be pretty decent.
I think there might barely be value on the Miami side because they look pretty darned strong this year.

yeah, that's my concern as well. I can see Miami now being a pseudo-BSP fave.

It's that stifling RedHawk defense!!

Considering that Miami is practically a BSP type pick already stemming from their Anaheim TV games last week I'm guessing they quickly aren't going to have much value in their lines anymore. They aren't exactly a secret. But they sure are playing well.

Good year to be a Miami fan.
Basketball is looking really strong.
Football is in the conference championship.
Hockey team is 13-1 and #1 in the nation for the 5th week in a row with Michigan being the only other team even getting any 1st place votes.

i only glanced at miami's games last week, but the one thing they have going for them as far as not being a BSP favorite, is that they are basically a bunch of grinders. BSP'ers are rarely able to properly recognize the skill level of grinder teams, because BSP's don't pay close enough attention.

anyway, mostly speaking out of my azz here, i bet on college hoops all day so i like to yap about it, but really i don't know what i'm talking about, i just know how to bet

i saw one of their white boys do a coast to coast into a spin move and lay it in play against usc, at that point i guess i should've been like "don't bet against this team all year"

I was going to make a comment when I read this about jinxes but I had Dayton so I didn't say anything.

But let that be a lesson
