Default just bought a new desktop and want to upgrade to 3 monitors

i just bought a desktop from dell but i want to order the video card i need to upgrade to 3 monitors so i can do that when i get the desktop in the mail. i have 2 dell 2007fps and a 2001fp that all have 1600x1200 resolution. i dont play n e video games or n stuff like that. just poker, internet, and like itunes and stuff. so i dont need a fancy card or n e thing like that. just one that will get the job done.

I assume your current video card is in the PCIe x16 slot (#10). You should just get a PCI video card and put it in one of the white PCI slots (#13). I recommend sticking with an ATI card.

See how that one says "interface: AGP" under specs? You need an "interface:PCI". In other words, that one won't work.

That one will work if your monitor has a VGA interface. This one is cheaper and has a DVI and VGA port.

Good luck with this. With vista, it is not as easy as just shoving an additional video card into an empty pci slot. Read this. http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device...imonVista.mspx
