Default NLTRN: 11$ *s, A9 on 944 board gets minraised

Now the problem with this dude is that he would virtually minraise whenever he had a hand. Could be the nuts, or third pair. He has minraised a WIDE variety of hands.

In this one he insta minraised again. In these spots when I have TPTK (thus HLL (hicard, two lows) )I veeery often just push vs. sucky opponents (which he was) and see them calling with any nine (or hicard in the example above).

You think there is anything wrong with this?

why did you push there?

You didnt raise pre-flop so he could easyly have a 4.

The only hand you are in good shape against is K9 ,Q9.

He probably doesnt call with a hand that you can beat.

I doubt anybody is going to fold even 95 here in an 11.

I almost always raise this flop with 4-x. Very often they don't put me on trips as this is a textbook scenario for slow playing and your expected to just call.

Though, I would not expect this move from a 'sucky opponent', actually almost never saw them do so. There are too many cards that may either look scary or kill the action, reraising is kind of obvious. I like to make it $400 so that he may fire another bullet with air, shove if he has 9-x or make a bad call. If he comes over the top again, folding is also an option but it's rare when blinds are this big.

You are probably ahead of the average 11 dollar player's range here. Hands that you beat that he will likely call with: 9x, 4x, flush draws, strangely played pocket pairs. I'm not at my regular comp right now but i'm sure if you stove it you are ahead of this range.

You could have avoided this situation by raising to 200 preflop. You will be able to put him on a more narrow range postflop and will be more comfortable getting it in here.
