Is it me or did Jenn overplay that AK?

It's you. You really think she's going to (much less should) dump AKs to Brian's 3-bet? Gabe was surprised she didn't pop him back.

She may not be an online player, but I'm sure she at least got a scouting report that aba 3-bets preflop rather light on occasion. She played it fine (if anything, you could say she underplayed it), and just got unlucky Erick flopped a set.

(Also note to Brian: don't try to joke with Jen after she's lost a big pot- we've seen before she's not in the mood.)

How are there more spammers in this thread than there have been in the Internet Bonuses forum this month?

I think he said something like "it would have been a bit thin", presumably talking about value betting the river, but I think the others were laughing at another donkament comment from Barry.

For some reason, the level of play in Cash Poker seems to be higher than in HSP.

Because of the ante/straddle stuff, HSP has become a donkfest and especially guys like Eli and Farha donk it up beyond all recognition. I mean they simply play any two and sometimes they suck out and sometimes they don't and I am not sure if they ever get the correct implied odds for this style. So far it's nothing but variance for them.

The way the game plays, it reminds me of .10/.20 NL at Stars, just with more money at stake and better tabletalk.

Definitely agree with this at times. I've only seen the first 4 episodes of Cash Poker thus far, but some of the play has been pretty good to say the least, most notably Gabe Thaler.

CP is a good combo of amateur to pro and the differences are quite obvious. Now, the commentary could use a little work...

I'm ready for the new rotation of players on HSP. The current cast has stagnated.
