everyone should email ft and complain, i just did. maybe if they get enough complaints, they'll change it (hahhahaha yeah right, i can dream though)

no way in hell i'd ever spend 400k pts on something that's not 1080i

can someone please explain how the whole MGR thing works... If I bought the 400,000 point plasma it would subtract .5 cents per point from my RB acct? thats alot if that is true

mgr = monthly gross rake

for every cent that is raked in a hand that you were dealt cards, your mgr increases by the total rake divided by the number of players dealt into the hand. your mgr is also affected by things like spending ftp's or for deposit fees or other things. then at the end of the month, your mgr is multiplied by your rakeback % and that's the $ you get.

so, spending 400k points @ an mgr reduction of 0.5 cent per point (taking $2k off mgr) actually reduces what you otherwise would have received in rakeback by $540 at the end of the month (assuming 27% rb). still a great deal.

i don't have an exact number. all i've heard is "should be something small like $10-20"

Lets say I make $2000 in rakeback. if i buy the tv for 400,000 ftp points, $540 will be deducted from rakeback? so i will get $1460 in rakeback that month if i purchase the tv. Am i understanding this correctly?
