Default 2-7 TD: From the blinds?

Still very much a TD newb/donk.

What do you generally do with the following hand/situations:

4-handed. In BB, you are dealt 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] CO and Button have both limped and are pretty loose on later streets. Raise? Check-option?

How does your answer change at a full ring table?

Do you do anything differently facing a raise from either CO or Button? or facing a raise from a tighter player?

A raise would be crazy. 3-4-6-7 is a trouble hand. I think it would be right on the edge of what you could call a raise with out of the blind. SS2 has a really good 2-7 TD section.

By the way was this on UB the games there seem to not have any fish.

If you raise and draw one, you may win the hand on the flop. Plus you may make an 9, 8, or 7 all of which should be profitable after the flop. I look for places to be aggro against limpers. This is a good one.

check, catch a deuce.

I would only raise a hand that cannot make a straight and is drawing at 8632 or better ish.

I would probably raise a three card wheel (with a 2 and 7) also, if people limped weak here and were not great post flop.

If you are against players who will call to the final draw with weak hands, I think you can safely just check and hope to hit a deuce. If your opponents are willing to fold after the first or second draw, it might be worth a raise to disguise the strength of your hand and try to take it down.

That play works better in position so that you can take a free card after the second draw.

Given your read I would just check. You might consider drawing to 743 instead of 7643.

Maybe a raise is crazy. But, after a raise you have multiple ways to play the hand, and it disguises the strength of your better one-card draws (and the fewer fish on UB the more important this is). If you limp and draw one you've defined your hand pretty well for someone drawing against you. You also define your one-card nut draw the next time you raise in this spot and draw one.

On post-raise options, if you manage to isolate you obviously draw one. If you get lots of action you can chuck the six and still have a two-card nut draw.

So I prefer the raise.
