Default NL200 - QQ faces small raise when flush hits turn

NL200 8-handed

Villain has been very quiet for the 2 hours I've been at the table. Haven't seen him raise anything preflop. I haven't done anything or shown down anything outlandish.

Hero ($225)
Villain ($160)

UTG folds, Hero raises to $8 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2 folds, Villain calls, others fold.

Flop 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero bets $14, Villain calls.

Turn 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets $28, Villain thinks and raises to $66, Hero..

Am I always peeling here because I have a club/overpair here? Does it change if I have two black Kings?

With those reads, I would fold here. He called your minraise with a pp or some sc or tricky AA. If I havenīt seen him doing any moves with air for 2 hours, I fold.

Id think this is going to be close to a call here if you believe youqueen flush is good. This couls also be a[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here representing the flush on this low board.
Both cases are good for you, and you're getting somewhere around 4 to 1 on your money at this point.
If the 4th club hits, you can b/f comfortably and if you hit a miracle queen, you may stack him.

I'm not seeing all the suits, only diamonds.

I would agree with most posters. Based on your own observations, check the turn and see what he does. If he puts out a pot bet, I'd say fold.

wait, woah, the reason to check the turn is so that we don't have to fold, unless this guy is super nitty passive

Is this live? Is villain loose or tight?
