I think a lot of us had this type of reaction to the story, and though I went with "massively degen", I could totally see people going the other way, especially in the context of 2+2.

I voted average. Considering the travel time and expense of the typical european gambler (or for that matter, east-coaster) taking a vegas vacation, your situation did not seem that uncommon, other than the urgency.

I voted "normal" because if it doesn't hurt anyone then I'm not a fan of attaching labels like "degenerate," or other negatives to it. (And while "degenerate" in 2+2-speak has a certain cool-ness to it, most people don't see it that way)

If it makes you happy, do it. If I had the money I'd be in Vegas way more often than I am now, regardless of how I got there.
