You'd think the biggest NL winner on FTP this year would be able to afford something a little more balla than a 25k car!

[/ QUOTE ]

apparently he is smarter than a lot of people who think they need to spend 40 or 60k on a car just because they make a lot of money.

[/ QUOTE ]

People that have a lot of money and spend $60k on a car are dumb?

infinity G35 coupe 2005-2006

[/ QUOTE ]

I like infi G35s but those are rear wheel. That thing handles like crap in the snow.

[/ QUOTE ]

Comments like this are really ignorant. The G35 has a 52:48 weight balance (50:50 is ideal in the snow) and has one of the best traction control systems in the industry.

In general, as long as you have good snow tires and your car has good weight balance, the difference between AWD/FWD/RWD is marginal so you shouldn't discount RWD cars entirely.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sorry but my buddy who has a G35 spent 40 minutes trying to get up a hill in snow with a G35. My FWD TL made it up the same hill on the first try. He ended up having to call a truck for help because he was blocking an intersection of traffic. I personally like the G35 better but due to a real life experience in the snow, I know better than to comment that they are good in snow. Ignorant comments? Real life testing > what you've been fed by corporations

[/ QUOTE ]

Tell your buddy he's an idiot and needs snow tires. The G35 has summer performance tires on it as stock, and those by nature are awful in the snow.

I have a rear wheel drive car (BMW) and it handles fine in the snow because I got snow tires for the winter.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, my buddy is an idiot, not because of his tires but because he didn't get the AWD version. He uses all-season tires. Yes he drives the 4 door model.

The argument that RWD vs AWD with the same tires handle about the same is ridiculous. I'm sure your car handles fine in the snow but it's not going to be as good as or better as AWD.

If I had your budget, I would get an older version of the mustang since I really like the look...

These are a bit out of your price range, but if you increase your budget line a little….

I also agree taht subarus look really ugly. I can't get over the hood. To cover everything that you wanted, I think that you need to go for the A4. I'm a real big fan of those Audis and they look real good, too.

I've been driving an A4 2.8 Quattro for about 8 years. Great car in the snow.
