I'd be folding AJ and 77 here. Why the hell do you think he's super light here Dan? He has 11 bb's, people don't know how to pushbot. If he had just lost a huge pot or something then maybe but come on.

[/ QUOTE ]

i don't think he's super light, but still fairly wide. it's 8 handed and there are big antes. and i know he isn't a nit or anything.

i think his range is something like this 22+,A8s+,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KJo+

that really isn't that wide. if he were utg, yea he'd be pushing tighter.

66 and AJo have 48% equity vs that range.

also there's absolutely no way 77/AJs could possibly be folds.

Ok it's been way too long since I've done pushbot calculations, but he should shove substantially wider than that right? I iso'd KQo and got berated for the record. (After reading the thread and doing some very quick calculations I think it's a little -EV)

yes he probably should be (and quite possibly is) shoving wider than that, but almost everyone else seems to be convinced he isnt for some reason.

i'd say KQo is a bit loose, but KQs would be okay i think.

in the 100r when he's already pushed a couple times and a lot of people know how to adjust calling ranges I don't think he should be pushing very wide

I think the bigger factor arguing for a tighter range is that he just pushed twice recently before this hand.

Did Steve say what he had?

i disagree. using a 150 (1/2 of actual ante) and calling ranges of
88+,AJs+,AQo+
88+,AJs+,AQo+
77+,AJo+,AJs+
66+,AJo+,AJs+
66+,AJo+,ATs+

u can push(accordin to sngpt) Push hands: 22+,A2+,K4o+,K2s+,Q8o+,Q2s+,J8o+,J2s+,T8o+,T4s+,98 o,95s+,85s+,75s+,64s+,54s (52.0%)

obviously i wouldn't be pushing as wide as that, but given most of the responses here my calling ranges seem fair. so obviously u can push fairly wide in his spot.

also in ur post u say people know how to adjust calling ranges, but many of the people who responded do play the 100r, yet they still gave pretty tight calling ranges.

Twice in two orbits isn't really anything to take note of. I just happened to have very few tables open at the time so I was paying more attention than usual.

Oops, he had AJo and berated me after the QQx flop
