they gave away this HH just a few days after the tourny, Marco took 2nd and then heard/thought about possible foul play so he requested the HH before they were accused in public of cheating... after all, he did get called by T high on the turn after making a huge check raise all in with a 9 high flush draw...

but the HH was so fkd up and scrambled when he got it he couldn't read it, we are just now getting around to unscrambling it after reading AP's BS response...

Waco / Junglen: Can you explain just what the deal is with the "scrambled" file you have? Is it actually encrypted somehow? Or just kind of like gibberish-y, like when you try to open an excel file that was saved in a different version of excel.

What does this mean for being able to actually decipher the HHs from the entire tourney...will u be able to do it?

Essentially, when Absolute email HHs, they stuff up the order of betting on various streets.

That's why they can't be interpreted by pokertracker.

N8550 (Nat) came up with a script to do most of the deciphering, but some of it is still pretty tough to correct.
