Default Pick an Area...

Assume you are about to graduate college and want to pursue poker full time for a year or two and see how it treats you. Where would you pick to live for the best shot at success with this from a financial standpoint? Consideration is to be given to game selection, cost of living, etc. Is Vegas the place to be? Or somewhere else? Main game would be somewhere around 5/10NLHE with some PLO thrown in there...

Thanks all!

Picked other on the basis that Biloxi runs PLO with some frequency. Plus the monthly nut in MS is low compared to your other options. Social situation on the Gulf Coast is generally better than Tunica because of the beaches. Good luck.

I agree with redfisher. I love Biloxi for the action. The tourists are a poker players dream. I make on average 3-500 per nite I am in town and when I get out of military I plan on moving there and playing 5-10 Limit permanently

Thanks for your input, I had never even considered Biloxi. I will have to look into it...
