What do you guys use for a default 3-bet size with a caller in between? I usually just mash the pot button knowing they'll call with Ax or 66, but I'm taking some shots and it feels big. Maybe shave a couple/few BBs off pot?

eg SB .25 BB .50 raise 1.75 call 1.75, I make it $7.00?

Should I move down?

You need to make some adjustments to your play at this level.

I will mainly focus on blind play with a little post flop advice. You need to play your small blind close to 100% of the time. Calling almost any raise is mandatory since you get a discount. Obviously, we will call ALL raises from the bb since we are already committed. If everyone limps, then you must min-raise from your sb to take control of the hand. This is especially true for suited cards because we want to start to build a pot in case they hit. The exceptions to this are when you have a monster such as QQ-AA. Then just limp along or call. Post flop you will check/call flop and turn so not to tip people of your strength. Once you get to the river, we will only have this one street to get value out of our monster so we need to spring our trap. Just push or raise all in. No one will suspect you have AA-QQ.

Also, don't forget that AK is also a limping hand. If the flop comes with all rag cards, calling a pot sized bet is perfectly fine on flop and turn because you deserve the pot because you were dealt AK. If you fold to these bets, then you will lose with AK WAY too often. Hope this helps. Cheers.

This weekend I started playing on the iPoker network. There is really a huge difference with the Microgaming(Prima) network.

Microgaming: a lot of maniacs with VPIP > 40%. Playing here is hitting a hand and getting paid off. Don't try to make people fold. They won't (at 20NL).

iPoker: a lot of 12/8 nits that really suck postflop. I am comfortable with second barreling a lot and am actually generating a lot of folds. This is really amazing, because it never happens on Prima. I have the feeling I can outplay people here.

My W$WSF is 35% or so on Prima and 48% on iPoker.

I am curious how people compare other networks? Is Prima by far the most insane network or is iPoker that weak-tight? And how does this compare to other networks like Party, Stars and Fulltilt?

75%+ of people on stars are 50vpip/5pfr at 10nl. Most seem intent on winnings everyhand they play and only fold to continuation bets when you flop the nuts.

It's not really that I am better off there. I am clearing a bonus, got 100 dollars for free and have won 10 buyins in a few thousand hands. But it's a different game. I am stealing a lot of blinds and pushing people off their hands. Because of this I am still getting paid on my good hands. People are easier to read because they are very, very straightforward.

Without even thinking about it my play style went from 16/13 (Microgaming) to 20/18 (iPoker).

But since I am planning to bonuswhore a little bit in the next few months, I am wondering what I have to expect from other sites.

dero, your downswing sounds similar to the one I had a while back (~32 BIs I think). Here's a graph to hopefully give you hope for an upswing:

From 100k to 135k, my bankroll took a huge dive. Since then, I feel like I've really improved my game and I think you can see the difference in variance (and win rate obv). FWIW, this graph represents about 6 months of play.
