Default Full Tilt Problem

I have not been able to highlight or use my Full Tilt software for about a month. One day I went on to play some poker. When I was done with my session I left the site running. However, when I got back an hour later the site was frozen. I tried rebooting and reinstalling the software. However, the results were the same. I was able to open the software. However, I am not able to highlight the site and move it. Nor am I able to use the software at all once it is open. I emailed the site and this is what they gave me:

>Please delete a file on your computer called [PlayerID].dat.
>
>- First, close the Full Tilt Poker software.
>- Using My Computer in the Start menu, go to your main Hard Drive
>(usually C: drive), then to Program Files and finally into your Full
>Tilt Poker folder (or the directory you installed our software).
>- Delete the file called [PlayerID].dat. PlayerID is your actual
>PlayerID on Full Tilt Poker.
>- Reboot your computer and restart the program.
>
>There may also be a few reasons why you are unable to proceed beyond
the
>card animation window (Can't Connect to Server).
>
>Please ensure that your system clock reflects the current date. To
check
>this double-click the clock on your taskbar. Change the settings
>accordingly. Also, make sure that you do a Windows Update from the
>Microsoft site.
>
>You may need to adjust the firewall and security programs on your
>computer. Refer to the firewall?s manual or even contact its
>manufacturer for more information if you require further assistance
>configuring it.
>
>First, please check your firewall software and ensure that Full Tilt
>Poker is not blocked, and that port 443 is not being blocked.
>
>Full Tilt Poker requires Internet access at all times. If it is already
>in the allowed list, please remove it from the list. Restart your
>computer and relaunch the Full Tilt Poker client. This should cause
>your firewall to re-request a permission setting. Set to "allow".
>
>Finally, if you have two firewalls running (i.e. Norton and the Window
>XP built-in firewall), we recommend that you disable the Windows
>built-in firewall. Having two firewalls enabled may interfere with each
>other, and decrease the level of your computer's security and
>performance.

I tried all of the above, but nothing worked. If you have ever had this problem with a site or have any ideas how to fix my problem share them. Thanks!
