Bicycling has drug scandals.
Baseball has steroid scandals.
Football has a dog fighting scandal
Basketball has a referee being fixed.
Is poker the cleanest sport??

If you take everything into consideration..poker is probably the dirtiest sport. Obviousely steroids aren't an issue, but other than that, I don't see anything poker players aren't involved in. Your latest article for bluff, talked about poker players who might have been mob hitmen, drugs are obviousely used by a lot of poker players, and as for dog fighting...poker players bet on anything, so im sure dog fighting is a possibility

Poker is not the cleanest "sport"....the best players are the ones that can lie the best!

Everything I see on TV and read in the mainstream media portrays the modern professional poker players in a very favorable light. Their intelligence and charm show up in the interviews. Poker's image is far better than it has ever been.

By no means am I trying to insult you, or poker players in general. But, your only seeing what ESPN broadcasts want you to see. The millions won, the joe-shmo who satellite, ya bla bla. They hardly ever talk about how many professionals have went bust, or their drug problems. If the spotlight were on poker, like it is baseball, there would be just as much of a [censored] storm. However, there is less news of cheating, and all the other [censored], that you guys went through years ago. The public perception of poker is very positive, and thats a good thing for all of us

I think 2+2ers are in TOTAL denial about how "clean" poker is.

My background is the US financial markets...
The most heavily regulated industry on the planet...
And corruption is rampant.

The following gets 302,000 hits:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...amp;btnG=Search

So being offshore and unregulated...
Cheating in the poker industry >>>>>> securities industry...
But no one serious is watching.

If I hear another word about how some Indian Reservation is "regulating" online casinos...
When they are not smuggling booze or cigarettes or worse...
I'm gonna puke.

Basically poker players do infinite drugs... weed, coke, adderol and other perscription drugs, it's just that none of these are "banned". Most are illegal to possess, but not illegla to have in your system.
