Default 99 facing cold call and villan leading into me on 2 streets

Ok this is how i played the hand(very tightly)for some reason i was thinking he is leading with a set,by choosing to take the line of just calling the flop rather than raising sort of lost my way/confidence with the hand..im sure he 3bets JJ+ maybe even TT outta the blinds so i could be long way ahead or long way behind here.

How should we play these spots pop up on flop if called c/f pretty much from there?Only 44 i had beat i think [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
